Sapt Rishi Ashram

Sapt Rishi Ashram was founded in 1943. Sanatan Darm Pratinidhi Sabha possesses the Ashram. Goswami Guru Datt was the originator of this spiritual hub. The godly language Sanskrit is taught in the Ashram to the poor students with the hostel facility. The Ashram is situated on the bank of the Ganges which makes the environment quite pleasurable and divine. Chilla Wild Life is fairly visible across the river. Pandavas are said to be passed through the same place which is imitated in the sculpture of the Pandavas near the river. ‘SaptRishi’ means the Seven Saints or Seven Stars who offered their prayer here. The holy river Ganges is believed to be divided into seven streams at this place.
